Confirmation at Trinity Lutheran Church

Growing in Faith, Together

Reach Out to Trinity

Confirmation is an important milestone in the life of faith. At Trinity Lutheran Church, our confirmation program helps youth explore what it means to live as a baptized child of God — deepening their understanding of Scripture, worship, and the Lutheran tradition.
Through study, service, and fellowship, students build a strong foundation for a lifelong relationship with Christ and the church community.

Who Can Participate?

Confirmation is typically open to students in middle school (grades 6–8), though all are welcome to join the conversation about faith. Whether you’re new to Trinity or have been here your whole life, this is a space to ask questions, grow in understanding, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.

What to Expect

Our confirmation journey includes:

  • Weekly classes that explore the Bible, the Apostles’ Creed, the Ten Commandments, and the Lord’s Prayer.

  • Synod Confirmation Classes every other week over Zoom

The program concludes with the Confirmation Service, a joyful celebration in which students publicly affirm their faith and commitment to the life of the church.

Schedule & Registration

Classes meet during the school year, typically on Sunday mornings at 10:00am, with Catechist David Wiley.
Parents and students are invited to meet with Vicar Miranda Searcy to learn more.

Why It Matters

Confirmation is more than just a class — it’s a journey of discovery. It’s a time for young people to explore their beliefs, ask honest questions, and experience God’s love through community. Our hope is that every student leaves the program confident in their faith and connected to the life of the church.
